MFA - Multi Factor Authentication Login

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a security system that requires separate and distinct forms of identification in order to access XCALLY.
The first factor is a password and the next includes a text with a code sent to your smartphone authenticator app or to your email.

How to set up
Â
Login to XCALLY and from the command top bar, click on the User Information Button:
Expand the Button and access to Manage section:

Follow the instruction shown from XCALLY:

It is possible to enable MFA via:
-Authenticator App
If you enable MFA via Email, be sure SMTP Settings are correctly configured.
Â
A code is generated and sent via auth app or email
Enter the code in the form in the Verify code field
Click on Enable
Enforce MFA (as Admin)
As an Admin, it is possible to enforce MFA for Agents and Users (from General Settings → Security). When MFA is enforced by the Admin, Agents and Users must login with MFA and can not disable the MFA on their own.
As an Admin, it is possible to disable MFA for all users (from General Settings → Security).

Enter your credentials in the login form
Enter the OTP (one time password), received via email or shown by the auth app
Disable MFA
To disable the multi-factor authentication:
Login to XCALLY and from the command top bar, click on the User Information Button:
Expand the Button and access to Manage section:
Click on Disable

As an Admin, it is possible to disable MFA for Agents and Users, when has been activated: it is useful in case of phone loss or enable MFA from another device. From the Agent/User Authentication section (Staff → Account → Authentication) :
