What it's about

 

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security system that requires two separate, distinct forms of identification in order to access XCALLY.

The first factor is a password and the second includes a text with a code sent to your a smartphone authenticator app or to your email.

 


How to set up

 

Login to XCALLY and from the command top bar, click on the User Information Button:

Expand the Button and access to Manage 2FA:

Only the user can enable this feature from his own interface.

Follow the instruction shown from XCALLY:

  • It is possible to enable 2FA via:

-Authenticator App

-Email

  • A code is generated and sent via auth app or email

  • Enter the code in the form in the Verify code field

  • Click on Enable 2FA

Login with 2FA

  • Enter your credentials in the login form

  • Enter the OTP (one time password), received via email or shown by the auth app

Disable 2FA

To disable the two-factor authentication:

  • Login to XCALLY and from the command top bar, click on the User Information Button:

  • Expand the Button and access to Manage 2FA:

  • Click on Disable 2FA
