Updates
Overview
In the Settings → Updates section, you will see information of the current XCALLY version.
This page describes the Updates section on the New Client Experience, available from version 3.54.0. We recommend using the New Experience web interface to take full advantage of the latest features.
You can find the Changelog link and you have the possibility to update the product to the latest version.
Version Update
If you are running an old version of XCALLY, we strongly recommend following a step-by-step upgrade approach as described here: How to proceed with manual step-by-step update for old XCALLY versions
If there is a new XCALLY version, Administrators can update the product as described below:
Before starting the update, check that your server can reach repository.xcally.com.
Use the following command:
telnet repository.xcally.com 443
Click on CHANGELOG to read the log of the new XCALLY version.
Click on UPDATE to get the latest version of the product.
Do not update your system while agents and users are logged in the system!
The update process starts automatically. While updating, XCALLY will be put into maintenance mode:
At the end the system will restart all XCALLY Motion Services.
Remember to Hard Refresh and clear Application Data in your browser after the update
