Overview

This page describes the System section on the New Client Experience, available from version 3.54.0. We recommend using the New Experience web interface to take full advantage of the latest features.

In Settings → System section, users with the proper skills (e.g. System Administrator) can find useful information of:

  • the environment where the XCALLY Motion has been installed

  • the processes.

General

General section is useful to monitor operating system, CPU, memory, disks and network interfaces.

Furthermore a list of processes is shown (including microservices components), with the possibility to quickly find them with a Search field.

The general tab data let you understand if the server meets the hardware requirements for running your XCALLY Motion system properly.

Processes

Processes section is useful to monitor status, memory and CPU usage of the active processes.

Furthermore you can start/stop processes from this panel and see useful commands for properly managing XCALLY Motion processes.

  • ami service manages Asterisk, reports and real-time information

  • agi service manages Cally Square projects

  • email service is used for delivering emails for Motion services

  • pm2-logrotate service manages log files

In case one service crashes, you just need to restart it rather than restart the entire XCALLY Motion system. Remember to restart a service when you modify its system parameters in order to apply the changes.
