How to enable split Voice Recordings
On this page |
Overview
XCALLY supports Split Voice Recording, allowing separate audio tracks per speaker (stereo instead of mono).
This enhances call analysis by isolating agent and customer voices.
The Split Voice Recordings feature is available for:
Voice Queue Calls automatic recordings (inbound, outbound, internal routes)
Motion Bull Queue Campaign automatic recordings, for all dialer methods
Manual recordings by Agents via Phonebar or WebRTC
Requirements
Install
ffmpeg(Debian command:apt-get install ffmpeg)Restart the motion service to apply the change
You need to enable Quality Analysis on your license to correctly view the two audio channels
Enabling this feature may increase CPU usage — monitor system performance accordingly.
Enable split Voice Recording
Go to Settings → General → Global and enable Audio Split for Voice Recordings
To enable proper call recording using the MixMonitor tool, make sure to include the xX options in both the Queue and Dial applications. This ensures that all call recordings are saved correctly.
If you're experiencing issues with call recordings, verify that the automation parameter in the /etc/asterisk/features.conf file is uncommented. It should appear as:[featuremap]automixmon => *3
