Starting the Web Interface

Log In

Log in to https://YOUR-MOTION-IPADDRESS/login (insert the name of your actual server) using your login name and password: 

Log In with Security Suite enabled

If the Security Suite is enabled, the password must respect the following security rules: it must contain least 8 characters and have at least 1 lowercase character, one uppercase character, one numeric character and one of the following special characters ~!@#$%^&-_=+[{]}.

Any time the password is changed, the new one must be different from the old one.

The new password will last 90 days: after that it must be changed again.

You will be informed at login, starting from 15 days before password expiration:

Forget your password

• click on 

• Enter the e-mail address associated to the login name

you will receive a link via email. Click on this link and change the password (This link expires in one hour: if you cannot use it you should start a new reset procedure).

This function works only if SMTP service is set properly.

Socket Disconnection for Network Problems

If you encounter a network problem during your XCALLY Motion work session, you will be warned by this error message:

It will disappear when the connection is reestablished.

License Expiration Notification at Login

If you are notified your license is going to expire:

please verify your License and contact our team at license@xcally.com ASAP!

Admin Web Interface

The Thanks to the intuitive Admin Web Interface opens, like in the following example, it is possible to configure the overall XCALLY environment:

From the left-side Menu, you can find all the available XCALLY Motion programs and utilities.
Hint: if you prefer to minimize this menu bar just click on the button  and the window will be resized. Click again to maximize it.

Commands and Functions List

After logging in, the XCALLY Motion Web Interface will be shown with the following header on top of it:

and using the buttons and commands in this section the Admin is able to:

1. Quick Access to Agents section

2. Quick Access to License section

3. User Information Button: avatar, full name, username and internal number.

4. Search by Context Button 

5. List of supported languages (click to choose a different language)

6. Internal Messenger button to exchange messages with other users and agents or groups of them.

How to manage 2FA

Clicking on the User Information Button, it is possible to enable the two factor authentication.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security system that requires two separate, distinct forms of identification in order to access XCALLY.

The first factor is a password and the second includes a text with a code sent to your a smartphone authenticator app or to your email.

Only the user can enable this feature from his own interface.

How to manage Messenger Groups

The Internal Messenger environment allows also to the user/admin to create or delete groups:

• Click on the 

  

   icon and then on the Groups tab:

• Click on the button

  

  and fill the New Group form:

The group members can be picked from the list of all the available Agents of the system:

• Set the Enable Writing to enable agents/users to send messages. If this flag is not enabled, the group members will only receive messages.

Once Created, a group can be deleted clicking on the button .
