Log in to https://YOUR-MOTION-IPADDRESS/login (insert the name of your actual server) using your login name and password:
Thanks to the intuitive Admin Web Interface, it is possible to configure the overall XCALLY environment:
🔐 Log In with Security Suite enabled
If the Security Suite is enabled, the password must respect the following security rules: it must contain at least 8 characters and have at least 1 lowercase character, one uppercase character, one numeric character and one of the following special characters ~!@#$%^&-_=+[{]}.
Any time the password is changed, the new one must be different from the old one.
The new password will last 90 days: after that it must be changed again.
You will be informed at login, starting from 15 days before password expiration:
Forget your password
Click on Forgot Password?
Enter the e-mail address associated to the login name
3. You will receive a link via email. Click on this link and change the password (This link expires in one hour: if you cannot use it you should start a new reset procedure).
This function works only if SMTP service is set properly.

🆘 Socket Disconnection for Network Problems
If you encounter a network problem during your XCALLY Motion work session, you will be warned by this error message:
It will disappear when the connection is reestablished.
⏱️ License Expiration Notification at Login
If you are notified your license is going to expire:
please verify your License and contact our team at license@xcally.com ASAP!
If you access Web GUI and you receive Error “Unknown authorization format”
Commands and Functions List
After logging in, the XCALLY Motion Web Interface will be shown with the following header on top of it:
Quick Access to Agents section
Quick Access to License section
User Information Button: avatar, full name, username and internal number
Clicking on this button, it is possible to Change Password, Manage 2FA, Logout

6. Messenger button to exchange messages with other users and agents or groups of them.
The Internal Messenger
The Internal Messenger can be used to chat with other Agents or Users/Supervisors or Admins logged to the same Motion Server.
1. Clicking on the header button the user can access the Internal Messenger and see all the available recipients (those with a green badge are currently logged in and those with a red one are not):
2. Use the Search (by name) or Select (by status: Online/Offline/All) and find your message recipient from the list:
3. After selecting a recipient, you can immediately start typing your message:
4. When the recipient receives the message, a badge will appear on the Internal Messenger button:
where the number shown on the badge refers to the the total number of messages unread: Just click on this button to open the Messenger.
5. The message received is put on top of the list and you'll see a badge number to show how many unread messages you've received from that sender:
6. To reply, just type your message and send it. You can very easily exchange messages like in the following example, where the conversation takes place between an Agent and a User (Supervisor):
How to manage Messenger Groups
The Internal Messenger environment allows also to the user/admin to create or delete groups:
Click on the
icon and then on the Groups tab:
Click on the button
and fill the New Group form:
Name: choose a name for the group
Members: start typing the name of the XCALLY user. At the third letter, the system will show you the list of existing users from which to choose.
Enable Writing: enable agents/users to send messages. If this flag is not enabled, the group members will only receive messages.
Once created, a group can be edited clicking on the button or deleted clicking on the button .
Interface Common Icons
The following list contains the most common Admin Web Interface buttons and icons that you will use during the configuration of the environment:
Create new element (i.e. New Agent, New Queue...)
Open the Quick Actions Menu (i.e.Edit/Delete)
Change Password (of Admin, Telephones, Users, Agents)
Channels (e.g. to add Users to a queue)
Copy (e.g. Contacts)
Add Agents (e.g. to a queue)
