New Client Experience

Overview

The New Client Experience introduces a modernized graphical interface for the XCALLY Motion environment. It provides improved usability and support for new features. It can be enabled via the "New Experience" toggle in the sidebar.

The New Client Experience is available for free on all licenses. The change takes place for the admin, while nothing changes for agents in terms of visualization.
Consider that some features have been developed only with the new interface (as Agent Profiles, Timings, Inspector, Queue Groups…) and other features like Quality Analysis have been improved only on new GUI.
As legacy sections are migrated to the New Customer Experience, enabling the sidebar toggle button will switch pages to the new interface. New features will continue to be developed for the New Customer Experience only.

OLD EXPERIENCE

This is the default interface for sections that have not yet been migrated. When the "New Experience" toggle is enabled, legacy sections will still appear in the classic view.

NEW EXPERIENCE

The migrated sections are visibile with the New Experience. Sidebar structure remains the same.
Clicking on a non-migrated feature redirects to the traditional interface.

Requirements

  • If you cannot enable the New Experience, please open a license modification ticket from here

  • No additional server setup is required

  • Required browser: Chrome for full functionality

  • If your server was installed before July 27, 2023, run the following script to update the NGINX configuration (standalone or all-in-one installations only - if you have HA, DR, reverse proxy etc you need to contact our support team):

    To avoid issues, we recommend launching the script while agents and users are not logged in to the system. Consider that, by running the script, a new NGINX configuration file will be installed while the old client configuration file will be saved as a backup at the path indicated in the script. Any custom changes made by the user will not be automatically carried over.

NGINX Best Practice

Our configuration files should not be modified, so if you need to customise the nginx conf file, it is strongly recommended to not modify our file, but create a copy and customise your own.

We overwrite the configuration file each time we update it. For example when a script is launched, the nginx file is modified. In any case the script saves a backup copy of modified nginx and highlighted on the screen the differences between versions when the script is run.

  2. Switch language

  2. Access Internal messaging (coming soon – to use the internal messenger, please switch back to the old interface)

Change Password

To change your password, click on your profile icon → Change Password and fill in the following fields:

  • Old Password

  • New Password

  • Confirm Password

Finally, click Save to confirm and apply the password change.

Manage MFA

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a security system that requires separate and distinct forms of identification in order to access XCALLY.

The first factor is a password and the next includes a text with a code sent to your smartphone authenticator app or to your email. 

If you enable MFA via Email, be sure SMTP Settings are correctly configured.

 

How it works:

  1. A code is generated and sent via Auth App or Email

  2. Enter the code in the form in the Verify code field

  3. Click on Enable MFA

 

Manage Date/Time Formats

You can manage Date/Time formats via the User Profile Menu.

  • You can customize:

    • Date/Time format

    • Date format

    • Time format

    • Duration Format

    • Time Zone

    • Report Date/Time format

  • Choose between Global Settings or available values per each category (date, time, timezone and so on).

White Label Support

New Client Experience supports white label branding. Customizations applied in the Settings → Customizations section (e.g., logo, page title, header) are fully visible in the interface.
On footer you can view Server Version.

Troubleshooting

New Installations (with New Plans 2025)

  • New Client Experience is enabled by default on all plans

New Installations (After Nov 6, 2023 with old Plans)

  • New Client Experience is enabled by default on all plans

  • Queue Groups, Calls Inspector and Queue Inspector features included for free.

  • Ultimate Plan: Agent Profile package included by default

  • Plus / Omnigold / Dialer Gold: Agent Profile package must be requested via License Portal

Ultimate Plan

  • New Client Experience and Agent Profiles are free but require license modification via License Portal

Plus / Omnigold / Dialer Gold

  • New Client Experience is free but must be manually requested, filling our form

  • Agent Profiles package must be requested and may be chargeable, filling our form
