The Web Interface

Overview

After successfully logging in, users are presented with the XCALLY Motion Web Interface, which includes a top navigation bar providing quick access to essential sections, user tools, messaging, and language preferences.

  1. Quick Access to Agents section: direct link to the Agents section.

  2. Quick Access to License section: direct link to the License management area.

  3. User Information menu: click the user avatar to view full name, username and internal number.
    Additional options: Change Password, Manage 2FA, Logout

  1. Search Button: Accessed via the Search icon 🔍. It allows quick navigation by typing the name of a section available in the left-hand menu.
    Only displays results for sections enabled under your current license, so if a section is not licensed, it will not appear in search results.

  2. Click the Language dropdown to choose from all available interface languages.

  3. Messenger: launches the Internal Messenger to exchange messages with: other agents, users (supervisors or admins) or groups.

The Internal Messenger

The Internal Messenger allows users to communicate directly within the Motion platform.

  1. Click the Messenger icon on the top bar.
    View a list of available recipients:

    • Green badge: user is online

    • Red badge: user is offline

  1. Search recipients by name or filter by status: Online, Offline, or All.

  1. Select a recipient to begin chatting and you can immediately start typing your message

  1. Incoming messages trigger a badge notification indicating the number of unread messages.
    Just click on this button to open the Messenger.

 

  1. New messages are shown at the top of the conversation list.

  1. To reply, just type your message and send it.

Messaging works in real time, enabling quick and efficient internal communication.

FROM VERSION 3.40.0

AssistantsTab available in the Messenger section. You can view and select from all available Virtual Assistants.

It’s possible to start a conversation by typing your query; the Assistant will search for relevant information from uploaded documents.

Managing Messenger Groups

Admins and users can create and manage chat groups for internal collaboration.

Creating a group

  1. Click the Group icon in the Messenger window

 2. Go to the Groups tab:

  1. Click the + button to create a new group

  1. Fill in the form:

Name: enter the group name.

Members: select from available agents

Users cannot be added, only agents.

Enable Writing: enable agents to send messages. If unchecked, members will only receive messages and cannot send replies.

  • Once created, a group can be edited clicking on the edit button or deleted clicking on the bin button 

    .

Interface Icon Reference

Here is a list of common icons used in the XCALLY Admin Web Interface:

Create new element (e.g. New Agent, New Queue...)

Open the Quick Actions Menu (e.g. Edit/Delete)
